We offer horse riding in Sri Lanka for all experience levels. Whether you are riding a horse for the first time or are an experienced equestrian, we have the perfect ride for you. Experienced riders who demonstrate adequate riding skills can enjoy a guided horse ride along the beaches and backlands of Kalpitiya, Sri Lanka. For beginner and novice riders, we provide carefully selected options such as lead horse ride, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable time horse riding on the beach in Kalpitiya, Sri Lanka. This unique experience combines nature, freedom, and connection with our horses, making it one of the most memorable ways to explore the region. All riders are required to complete a check-in form and legal waiver prior to riding. Horse & Rider Guidelines: The maximum rider weight for Aquarius, our beautiful mare, is 85 kg. PLEASE NOTE- Buddy, our young gelding, is currently recovering from back issues. For his health and wellbeing, we are focusing on doing mostly groundwork and a maximum of 4 rides a week depending on requests. With Buddy, we currently only offer rides in walk, preferably with kids, with the maximum rider weight being 50kg. Due to this, we cannot ensure that Buddy is able to be ridden on the day of request, so it is best to check in advance for availability. At Elements Stable, we prioritize our horses’ physical and mental wellbeing through natural horsemanship practices. Due to Sri Lanka’s warm climate, we make sure to exercise the horses only during cooler hours - between 7:00–9:00 am and 4:00–6:00 pm and our horses are fed at 9:30 am and 6:30 pm.
